How to Compare Napkin Prices by Count and Type
Price per 100 napkins is easy to calculate, but napkins come in different sizes, plies, folds, and intended uses. A useful comparison keeps those differences visible beside the count.
Start with count
Divide price by total napkins and multiply by 100. For multipacks, multiply packages by napkins per package first.
Separate product types
A beverage napkin, everyday luncheon napkin, dinner napkin, and dispenser napkin should not be ranked as though they provide the same coverage or presentation.
Include waste and dispensing
Commercial dispenser napkins may reduce the number taken at once. A higher-quality dinner napkin may also require fewer pieces per person.
- Compare like formats first.
- Record ply and dimensions when available.
- Use total count across every pack.
Our verification approach
Valuper keeps product identity, package quantity, and price as separate fields. A unit price should be published only when all three refer to the same package. Because online listings can change, the package count and verification date should be checked again before a price is updated.
